11. – Winkelcentrum Vathorst
A shopping centre is one of the most obvious meeting places but, aside from coming here for your daily shopping, Winkelcentrum Vathorst is also an ideal location for learning, reading and playing at Cultuurhuis ICOON. The area is home to a school, theatre, Scholen In De Kunst, a library and a childcare centre. The square is decorated by the enormous bronze artwork by Ram Katzir: Boa Eet Oma (Boa Eats Grandma).
