13. – Textile salesman
The first water spout (counting from the Kamperbinnenpoort) is a textile salesman who is showing his wares. It is a clear reference to the Weverssingel and the textile industry that provided many Amersfoort residents with work between the middle of the 15th and end of the 18th centuries.
