Roos van Dekemastraat (Opposite no 31)
The Rozenbuurttuin (‘Rozenbuurt garden’) in Schothorst was an initiative of the municipality but has since been taken over by residents in the neighbourhood. Together, they have ensured that a complete vegetable garden, playhouse and water pump have been installed and maintained in the garden. The garden was opened at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and the initiative was a great opportunity, during difficult times, for the locals to spend a bit more time focusing on and connecting with one another.
