8. – Beer brewery De Lelie
This area on the Langegracht is also known as the ‘Biergracht’ (beer canal) because there used to be numerous beer breweries along this stretch of the canal. The water spout ‘Drinkgelach’ (drinking-bout) refers to this fact.
