The Farmers’ Route
Farmers have always been responsible for providing the majority of food to regular citizens. At first glance, it is a noble profession with enormous social importance. Nevertheless, it has always been clear that cities have paid too little attention to farmers and their families. In days gone by, farmers and their families were expected to stop and doff their caps when somebody from a higher class passed on the street. Today, farmers often feel overlooked by the government even though they are vital when it comes to tackling climate issues and nitrogen problems.
