Meeting for reconciliation
The Route to Reconciliation begins when we recognise one another’s stories. By recognising where we come from, we can realise reconciliation. Go to one of the contemporary meeting places on the Meeting Path or immerse yourself in history by following other routes.
The Meeting Path on the Route to Reconciliation passes various meeting places in the various neighbourhoods, from Vathorst in the north, to the Leusderkwartier in the south of Amersfoort. These locations are all ideal meeting points and might involve a grassy area where children and adults from different backgrounds can meet up, a shopping centre or a neighbourhood garden.
